About Us
Hi, I'm Nuno Arroteia the Founder of Skills-Log
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across industries and academia, gaining firsthand experience in business transformation, upskilling, and reskilling – areas that are now more critical than ever. From operations management and business development roles in companies like Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, UEFA, and Carglass, to mentoring entrepreneurs and investing in start-ups, I’ve seen just how essential it is for individuals to keep their skills sharp in a fast-changing world.
My journey also took me into teaching and research, where I spent years working with students, leaders, and professionals to navigate international business, entrepreneurship, and strategy. I’ve taught in the UK’s leading universities, published research on entrepreneurship and skills development, and led programs focused on professional growth.
Skills-Log is a project I’ve been maturing throughout this journey – a platform built to help individuals to build an ePortfolio for skills management. Drawing on my academic research, industry experience, and collaboration with leading education universities worldwide, I created a solution that not only tracks skills but empowers people to build better and more skills.
I’m excited to bring this vision to life, helping businesses adapt and individuals stay ahead in a world where learning never stops. Let’s build a stronger, smarter workforce together!
